Direktflug in 13,5 Stunden f\u00fcr sagenhaft g\u00fcnstige 570.- .<br \/>\nNeben mir in der A330\/400 sitzt Christine, ein junge Studentin aus Penang. Sie studiert Medizintechnik in London und fliegt nach 2 Jahren Studium mal wieder nach Hause \u00fcber den Jahreswechsel. Und ist nat\u00fcrlich entsprechend aufgeregt.\n<\/p>\n<h3>Samstag, 12.12.2015 &#8211; Ankunft in Kuala Lumpur<\/h3>\n<p>\nUm Ortszeit 18 Uhr Landung auf dem KLI, dem Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Mit der Schnellbahn, dem KLI Express fahre ich f\u00fcr 35 malaysische Ringit (ca. 8 Euro) ins Zentrum zum KL Sentral, dann mit der LRT f\u00fcr 1,60 Ringit zur S-Bahn Station Masjid Jamek. Dort um die Ecke liegt das Back Home KL Hostel welches ich von daheim f\u00fcr 2 N\u00e4chte gebucht habe. Die Bewertungen des Internetportals www.hostelworld.com bewahrheiten sich: das Back Home KL ist ne super Unterkunft. F\u00fcr ca. 16 Euro pro Nacht im 4-Bett Zimmer \u00fcbernachtet man hier. Alles ist tip-top sauber, funktionell und die Betten sind gross. Auch ein Fr\u00fcst\u00fcck ist inbegriffen sowie Kaffee und Tee zu jeder Zeit. Bier leider nicht. Mit dem Zug kommt man in ner halben Stunde dorthin. Die weitl\u00e4ufigen, teils sehr gro\u00dfen H\u00f6hlen sind eine zentrale Kultst\u00e4tte der malasischen Hindu's. Also der indischen Auswanderer. Mehrere Hindutempel sind in und um die H\u00f6hlen angeordnet. Der Eintritt ist doch tats\u00e4chlich frei. Jedenfalls hat mich niemand zur\u00fcckgehalten als ich rein bin. Allerdings sind die H\u00f6hlen nur \u00fcber ne lange, steile Treppe mit 272 Stufen auch entsprechend anstrengend zu erreichen. Vor der gro\u00dfen Treppe steht eine 43 Meter hohe goldene Statue von Lord Murugan, einem hinduistischen Gott.\n<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<style dem Back Home KL und dann geht's mit dem KL Express Zug wieder raus zum Flughafen, diesemal dem KLIA2. Das ist der 2. internationale Flughafen von Kuala Lumpur. Er liegt gleich neben dem KLIA. Hier hat die asisatische Fluglinie Air Asia ihr Drehkreuz. Mit denen fliege ich heute vormittag in 2,5 Stunden in die nordthail\u00e4ndische Metropole Chiang Mai. Diesmal sitzt neben mir ein \u00e4lterer Chinese. Der bekommt alle 2 Minuten nen Hustanfall. Hoffentlich hat er nicht die Vogelkrippe oder SARS!<br \/>\nIn Chiang Mai nehme ich ein Songthaew (Sammeltaxi) und fahre in die Stadt zum JJ Guesthouse. Dort wartet schon mein Bekannter Charly auf mich. Der ist schon seit 3 Wochen hier. ich im POPP Motorradverleih eine 110 ccm Honda Wave aus. Heute fahren wir auf den westlich von Chiang Mai liegenden Berg hoch um die buddhistische Tempelanlage des Doi Suthep zu besuchen. War zwar schon \u00f6fters hier, den Tempel kann man sich trotzdem immer wieder mal anschauen. Der ist echt toll. Negativ im Vergleich zu fr\u00fcher sind die vielen chinesischen und koreanischen Touristen, die hier in Scharen einfallen. Positiv dagegen, da\u00df man sich an denen so vorbeidr\u00fccken kann um sich den Eintritt in den Tempel zu ersparen. Denn die Thais verlangen von Ausl\u00e4ndern fast den 10-fachen Eintrittspreis als f\u00fcr Einheimische. Turnschuhe habe ich auch dabei. Also hei\u00dft es heute um 6:30 Uhr zum Sonnenaufgang aufstehen, Sportklamotten anziehen, rausfahren zum Berg und raufjoggen. In 6-10% Steigung f\u00fchrt die gut ausgebaute Stra\u00dfe in unz\u00e4hligen Kurven und Kehren hinauf. Nach 1:15 Stunden hab ich's tats\u00e4chlich ohne anzuhalten geschafft. 1 Flasche Wasser, 15 Minuten Pause und dann denselben Weg wieder zur\u00fcck. Obwohl die Beine schmerzen dauert der R\u00fcckweg nur 45 Minuten. Der n\u00e4chste Grenz\u00fcbergang ist in Mai Sai nach Burma (Myanmar). Die n\u00e4chstgr\u00f6\u00dfere Stadt dort ist Chiang Rai, ca. 180 km n\u00f6rdlich von Chiang Mai. Also fahren wir dorthin mit den Mopeds. Die Fahrt f\u00fchrt vorbei an hei\u00dfen Quellen. Je weiter wir in den Norden fahren desto k\u00e4lter wird es. Also wir am Nachmittag dort ankommen hat es nur 17 Grad, was mir gleich ne handfeste Erk\u00e4ltung einbringt.<br \/>\nWie beim letzten Mal 2011 quartieren wir uns auch diesmal wieder im Boon Bun Dan Guesthouse in der Stadtmitte ein. Das ist vom Preis-\/Leistungsverh\u00e4ltnis konkurenzlos g\u00fcnstig: f\u00fcr 200 Bhat (5 Euro) bekommt man ein gro\u00dfes Zimmer mit gro\u00dfem Doppelbett, Aircon, Kabel-TV und WLAN. Der Tempel ist ein Touristenmagnet, vor allem Chinesen werden busweise hierhergekarrt. funktioniert hat, fahren wir heute zum Immigration Office in Chiang Rai um Charlies Visum zu verl\u00e4ngern. Das ist ganz im Nordosten der Stadt, ca. 2 km s\u00fcdlich des Flughafens. Damit man \u00fcberhaupt sein Visa verl\u00e4ngern darf mu\u00df man \"Resident\" hier sein, d.h. hier einen Wohnsitz haben. Das wiederum ist kein Problem. So einen Schein f\u00fcllt uns unser Vermieter des Guesthouses aus. Da wir erst am Sp\u00e4tvormittag am Office ankommen und das \u00fcber Mittag geschlossen ist hei\u00dft es Warten. Hier drau\u00dfen sind so hiemlich alle Beh\u00f6rden der Stadt untergebracht. In der Kantine des gleich nebenan liegenden Finanzamtes k\u00f6nnen wir sogar umsonst Mittagessen - mu\u00df man sich merken. In Deutschland w\u00fcrde einem das sicher als gelwerter Vorteil von der Steuer abgezogen. Die Visaverl\u00e4ngerung f\u00fcr weitere 30 Tage kostet 1900.- Bhat und ist nach Mittag schnell erledigt. Da bleibt noch Zeit am Nachmittag in einem der vielen Cafe's am Ufer des Kok Rivers zu chillen.\n<\/p>\n<h3>Dienstag, 22.12.2015 - Von Chiang Rai nach Nan<\/h3>\n<p>\nGenug ausgeruht in Chiang Rai. Die westlich gelegene Bergregion haben wir vor 5 Jahren schon abgefahren. Also fahren wir s\u00fcd\u00f6stlich in einer gr\u00f6\u00dferen Schleife \u00fcber mehrere Tage zur\u00fcck nach Chiang Mai. Das heutige Tagesziel hei\u00dft Nan, eine Provinzhauptstadt mit 24000 Einwohnern in der N\u00e4he von Laos. Von Chiang Rai nimmt man zun\u00e4chst die Stra\u00dfe 1020 und dann die 1292 bis Chun. Dort machen wir Mittag. Hierher verirrt sich selten ein Ausl\u00e4nder (Farang). Als uns der hiesige Dorfpolizist sieht kann er endlich mal wieder sein englisch an den Mann bringen. Er f\u00fchrt uns durch die Stadt zum besten Thai-Essensstand. Auch da\u00df wir Deutschen Weltmeister im Fussball sind erf\u00fcllt ihn mit Stolz gerade uns zu treffen. \u00dcberfreundlich aber sehr h\u00f6flich und etwas versch\u00fcchtert betanken zwei M\u00e4dels unsere Mopeds an der hiesigen Tankstelle. Die haben bestimmt schon jahrelang keinen Farang mehr gesehen.<br \/>\nBis hierher und weiter auf der 1091 \u00fcber Pong und chiang Muan ist die Strecke relativ unspektakul\u00e4r da es fast immer geradeaus \u00fcber eine Ebene geht. Die letzten 65 km auf der 1091 bis Nan f\u00fchren jedoch in vielen Kurven \u00fcber sch\u00f6nes dschungelbewachsenes Bergland. In Nan kreisen wir mit den Mopeds etliche Runden in der Stadt bis wir mit dem Jun Dang Guesthouse eine tolle Unterkunft gefunden haben. Der Geb\u00e4udekomplex ist komplett innen und au\u00dfen in massivem Teakholzstil aufgebaut. Die Zimmer kosten normalerweise ab 1000 Bhat. Da wenig los ist bekommen wir nach etwas verhandeln ein Twin-Bett Zimmer f\u00fcr 600. Das Hotel ist super ausgestattet und gleicht eher einem Teakholzmuseum als einer Herberge. Also starten wir von hier aus eine Tagestour mit den Mopeds. Ziel ist der Doi Phu Kha Nationalpark n\u00f6rdlich von Nan. Der liegt in einer dschungelbewachsenen Bergregion. Auf dem Highway 101 geht's zun\u00e4chst ca. 60 km in n\u00f6rdlicher Richtung bis Pua. Von dort zweigt die 1256 in \u00f6stlicher Richtung ab und f\u00fchrt alsbald in vielen Kurven in die Bergw\u00e4lder. Der h\u00f6chste Punkt des Nationalparks ist fast 2000 Meter hoch. Kurvenreich ist auch die Abfahrt nach Bo Kluea. Hier biegt man rechts ab auf die 1081. Die f\u00fchrt bald wieder die Berge hinauf: Der sch\u00f6nste Streckenabschnitt den ich in Thailand je gefahren bin - sehr viele Kurven und Kehren, gut ausgebaute Stra\u00dfe und kaum Verkehr. Da lacht das Herz eines jeden Bikers. \u00dcber die 1169 fahren wir dann am Sp\u00e4tnachmittag wieder zur\u00fcck nach Nan. Zun\u00e4chst geht die Fahrt wieder auf der 1091 \u00fcber Pong zur\u00fcck nach Chun. Bisher ging alles glatt mit der Fahrerei. Heute aber ist's passiert. Beim Linksabbiegen nimmt uns einer der vielen idiotischen Thai-Pickup-Fahrer die Vorfahrt und schneidet uns. Charly kommt grade noch rechtzeitig zum Stehen, mir reichts nicht ganz. Beim Ausweichman\u00f6ver bleibt mein Moped vorn am Auspuff von Charlies Moped h\u00e4ngen. Zum Gl\u00fcck kein Unfall sondern nur kleinerer Plastikschaden am Schutzblech. Der bl\u00f6de Thai hat das nicht mal mitbekommen. Die Mopeds sind fahrbereit und wir k\u00f6nnen unsere Fahrt fortsetzen. \u00dcber die1021 f\u00fchrt der Weg weiter nach Phrayo und anschlie\u00dfend \u00fcber die 120 eine kurvige Schnellstra\u00dfe durch die Berge zur 118. Beim anderen Moped ist das vordere Schutzblech eingerissen. Das muss ersetzt werden. Die Honda Wave ist hier ein g\u00e4ngiges Zweirad und ein Honda H\u00e4ndler fast um die Ecke. F\u00fcr 14 Euro bekomme ich ein neues, samt Einbau. Das nenn ich mal ordentliche Preise! Hier bekommt man noch was f\u00fcr sein Geld. Ansonsten lasse ich mir an meinem letzten Tag hier in Chiang Mai noch ne entspannende \u00d6lmassage verpassen.\n<\/p>\n<h3>Samstag, 26.12.2015 - Von Chiang Mai nach Bangkok<\/h3>\n<p>\nDer Air Asia Flug FD3444 um 11:20 Uhr bringt mich in 1:20 Stunden zum alten Don Muang Airport nach Bangkok. F\u00fcr 30 Bhat kommt man mit dem Airport Bus \"A1\" zur Skytrain Station Mo Chit (Chatu-Chak). Und mit dem Skytrain f\u00fcr 37 Bhat zur Station Ratchathewi. Hier um die Ecke ist mein zuvor \u00fcber's Internet gebuchte Monomer Hostel. F\u00fcr 500 Bhat bekommt man eines der 12 Betten im Dormitory. Am Abend fahre ich mit dem Boot vom Salam Saem Pier auf einem der vielen Klongs hier (Wasserstra\u00dfen) zur Haltestelle am Golden Mount. Von hier sind es noch 15 Gehminuten zur Khao San Road, dem Treffpunkt aller Rucksacktouries. Hier treffe ich mich mit meinem Arbeitskollegen Oli. Dort besuche ich wie fast allj\u00e4hrlich meinen fr\u00fcheren Arbeitskollegen Peter. Der ist mittlerweile Rentner und weilt fast das ganze hier. Untergekommen bin ich in Chalong in der June Bar die auch Zimmer vermieten.\n<\/p>\n<h3>Mittwoch, 28.12.2015 - Samstag, 02.01.2016 - Badeurlaub<\/h3>\n<p>\nWas positiv zu bemerken ist, ist da\u00df seit dem das Milit\u00e4r vor zwei Jahren die Regierungsgesch\u00e4fte \u00fcbernommen hat es wieder zivilisiert an den Str\u00e4nden zugeht. D.h. die vielen illegalen Shops und Restaurants sind weg. Auch die allermeisten Ligest\u00fchle und Sonnenschirme. 08.01.2016 - Fahrt nach Hat Yai<\/h3>\n<p>\nMein Besuch in Phuket ist vorbei - ich muss weiter. Mit dem Bus geht es heute vom zentralen Busbahnhof n\u00f6rdlich von Phuket Town in die Provinzhauptstadt Hat Yai ganz im S\u00fcden Thailands. Der Bus hat sogar ein funtionierendes WLAN. Die Fahrt dauert ca. f\u00fcnf Stunden, Ankunft 22:30 Uhr. Meine Unterkunft hier ist das Youth Hostel. Das ist tip-top sauber und liegt zentral in der Stadt, nicht weit vom Bahnhof. Das 4-Bett Dorm habe ich f\u00fcr mich allein.\n<\/p>\n<h3>Samstag, 09.01.2016 - Hat Yai<\/h3>\n<p>\nInteressant im Zentrum von Hat Yai ist lediglich der Markt. Der lohnt immer einen Besuch. Nachmittags um 16 Uhr geht mein \u00fcbers Internet gebuchter Zug von Hat Yai zur\u00fcck nach Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Nach einer Stunde Fahrt ist die Grenze in Padang Bai erreicht. Also wieder raus aus Thailand und Immigration nach Malaysia. Nach einer Stunde Aufenthalt f\u00e4hrt der Nachtzug weiter. Habe ein Bett in einem Sleeper Wagen gebucht um einigerma\u00dfen ausgeschlafen in KL anzukommen.\n<\/p>\n<h3>Sonntag, 10.01.2016 - Flug auf die Philippinen<\/h3>\n<p>\nP\u00fcnktlich um 04:25 Uhr erreicht der Zug den Bahnhof KL Sentral in Kuala Lumpur. Von hier kommt man direkt mit der S-Bahn \"KL Express\" raus zum Flughafen. Beim Kauf der Fahrkarte bekomme ich fast nen Schock. Die haben doch glatt die Preise f\u00fcr ne einfache Fahrt von 35 Ringit im Vorjahr auf 55 Ringit erh\u00f6ht. Alles Protestieren bringt nix, ich muss bezahlen und das, obwohl im Internet noch die alten Preise abgebildet sind. Am Vormittag startet mein Air Asia Flug vom KLIA2 Airport nach Kalibo auf den Philippinen. Kalibo liegt auf der Insel Panay und ist der internationale Flughafen f\u00fcr die Anreise auf die Trauminsel Boracay - auch mein Ziel. Am Airport wartet schon meine philippinische Kollegin Marjorie auf mich. Sie stammt von hier und arbeitet in ner Filiale der BSH in N\u00fcrnberg und ist mit dem Deutschen Georg verheiratet. Die machen auch grade Winterurlaub. Habe mit ihr vereinbart da\u00df sie mich abholt. Auch ein Hotel hier hat sie mir schon gebucht, das Kalibo Hotel. Ist zwar nicht ganz g\u00fcnstig mit 1200 Peso die Nacht (50 Peso = 1 Euro) aber hat ein gutes Preis-\/Leistungsverh\u00e4ltnis. In der Stadt ist schon einiges los. Denn am komenden Wochenende steigt das gr\u00f6\u00dfte Fest des Jahres dieser Gegend hier - das Ati-Atihan Festival. Abends trifft man sich hier in der Jamaika Bar &amp; Restaurant. Die ist etwa 6 km gro\u00df und liegt am nordwestlichen Ende der Insel Panay vorgelagert. F\u00fcr die 70 km bis zum K\u00fcstenort Caticlan wo die F\u00e4hren ablegen nehme ich den Minibus f\u00fcr 100 Peso. Die Fahrt dauert etwa 1,5 Stunden und f\u00fchrt meist an der K\u00fcste entlang. Am Pier in Caticlan ist viel los. Kein Wunder, Boracay ist die beliebteste Insel auf den Philippinen. Und das bei \u00fcber 7000 Inseln. Aber da\u00df man zuz\u00fcglich der \u00dcberfahrt auch noch ne Terminalgeb\u00fchr und eine Environmental Geb\u00fchr bezahlen mu\u00df, m\u00fcsste nicht zwingend sein. Boracay liegt nur etwa 1 km von Panay entfernt. Entsprechend dauert die Fahrt mit kleinen Auslegerbooten auch nur ne Viertelstunde. Trotzdem mu\u00df man sich in eine Passagierliste eintragen bevor das Boot ablegt. Denn zumindest die meisten Filipinos k\u00f6nnen nicht schwimmen. An der Anlegestelle warten schon viele Tricycle um die Touries zu ihren Hotels zu bringen. Mein Resort hei\u00dft Frendz und ist ne Anlage die fast komplett aus Bambush\u00fctten besteht. Da hier die Unterk\u00fcnfte wegen des Massentourismus recht teuer sind habe ich mich f\u00fcr ein Bett in einem Dormitory entschieden. Die Nacht im 5-Bett Zimmer kostet 12 Euro, f\u00fcr ein Einzelzimmer m\u00fcsste man auf der Insel mindestens 30 Euro berappen.\n<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"text-align: mal. Allein wegen des legend\u00e4ren White Sand Beach. Einer der sch\u00f6nsten Str\u00e4nde der Welt: 4 Kilometer lang, 50 Meter breit, wei\u00dfer Korallensand fein wie Puderzucker. Wenn man dr\u00fcber l\u00e4uft f\u00fchlt es sich an als w\u00fcrde man in Mehl laufen. Der Traum w\u00e4re perfekt, w\u00e4ren au\u00dfer mir nicht so viele Touristen hier. Vor allem am Abend beim Sonnenuntergang tummeln sich tausende Menschen hier - w\u00e4re ich nur vor 20 Jahren schon hierhergekommen. Und trotzdem ist der Strand immer noch klasse. Und ich habe mit den Bamboo Bungalows ne Strandbar gefunden wo man das San Miguel Bier f\u00fcr einen Euro bekommt - geht doch! Von hier sind es nur 2 Minuten zum Strand. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es herrscht ne tolle Athmosph\u00e4re und die Zimmer sind top sauber. Die Preise f\u00fcr Getr\u00e4nke sind ok, die f\u00fcr Speisen meines erachtens etwas zu hoch - aber man muss ja nicht immer hier essen. Aber Mittwochs und Sonntags schon. Denn da gibt es Spaghetti zum Nulltarif. Denn ich m\u00f6chte mir unbedingt das Ati-Atihan Festival in Kalibo dieses Wochenende anschauen. Zum Festival kommen zehntausende aus der Provinz Aklan in die Stadt. Da ist es sehr schwer, wenn nicht unm\u00f6glich, ein Zimmer zu bekommen. Wie gut da\u00df meine Kollegin Marjorie nur 20 km au\u00dferhalb in der Kleinstadt Balete wohnt und mir Unterkunft gew\u00e4hrt. Genau genommen hat sie mit ihrer Familie (Mann Georg und Sohn Franz) ein Haus im Ort Morales in den Bergen, 5 km von Balete entfernt. Die ersten Festlichkeiten finden schon heute statt. Nachmittags ist Siesta angesagt. Georg \"\u00fcberwacht\" seinen Anbau, eine kleine Werkstatt. Die l\u00e4sst er derzeit von seiner Verwandtschaft anfertigen. Die M\u00e4nner wohnen alle in der Nachbarschaft. Am Sp\u00e4tnachmittag gehen wir runter zum Flu\u00df und nehmen ein erfrischendes Bad. Wie jeden Abend so sitzen wir auch heute nach Feierabend am Bau mit den Jungs zusammen und trinken Red Horse Bier. sechs Uhr mit den H\u00fchnern auf. Um acht fahre ich dann mit dem Jeepney f\u00fcr 20 Peso nach Kalibo. Die Stadt ist schon proppevoll mit Menschen, ganze Stra\u00dfenz\u00fcge sind f\u00fcr den Verkehr gesperrt. Der ist in den \u00fcbrigen Stra\u00dfen praktisch zum Erliegen gekommen. Grund daf\u00fcr ist das Ati-Atihan Festival. Das gr\u00f6\u00dfte Fest des Jahres der hiesigen Provinz Aklan findet immer am 2. Wochenende im Januar statt. Das habe ich (unwissentlich) gut getimed. Das Fest ist im ganzen Land bekannt. In anderen Orten der Philippinen werden zwar \u00e4hnliche Feste gefeiert (z.B. findet das Sinulog-Festival in Cebu zeitgleich statt), das originale findet jedoch in Kalibo und Umgebung statt. Es \u00e4hnelt einem Faschingsumzug mit vielen Gruppen der umliegenden Ortschaften und einigen Motivw\u00e4gen. Gepr\u00e4gt wird das Spektakel durch laute, rythmische Tam-Tam Musik, erzeugt von Trommeln und Xylophonen, \u00e4hnlich der Samba- oder Guggenmusik. Dabei haben sich die Personen der umherziehenden Gruppen in farbenfrohe Kost\u00fcme geworfen. Ein Umzug findet am Vormittag, ein weiterer am Nachmittag statt. Schon vorigen Sonntag bei meiner Ankunft hier sind einige \"Musiker\" durch die Stra\u00dfen gezogen um zu \u00fcbern f\u00fcr den gro\u00dfen Auftritt.\n<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td gleichnamigen Insel. Dazwischen ist noch eine weitere, gr\u00f6\u00dfere Insel die durchquert werden mu\u00df: Negros. Dorthin kommt man mit ner F\u00e4hre von der Stadt Iloilo ganz im S\u00fcden von Panay. Es trifft sich sehr gut da\u00df meine Gastfamilie heute eine 10-t\u00e4gige Rundreise mit einem gemieteten Pickup startet und zuerst auch das Ziel Iloilo anf\u00e4hrt. Da nehmen die mich gleich mit. Die Fahrt dorthin dauert etwa 3 Stunden. Untergekommen sind wir im Hotel \"Highway21\" f\u00fcr 800 Peso die Nacht. Unseren letzten gemeinsamen Abend verbringen wir im \"Tatoy's Manokan &amp; Seafood\", 8 km westlich der Stadt am Strand. Das Tatoy's soll wohl eines der besten Seafood-Restaurants hier sein. Nachdem ich Kost und Logie die vergangenen Tage frei hatte \u00fcbernehme ich nat\u00fcrlich die Rechnung .Das Essen im Tatoy's ist entgegengesetzt sonstiger Speisen hier im Lande tats\u00e4chlich zu empfehlen. Denn die Kochkunst der Filipinos l\u00e4sst echt zu W\u00fcnschen \u00fcbrig. Dabei leben die doch auch in der tropischen Zone und haben eigentlich diesselben Voraussetzngen wie die Thais - aber halt keine Esskultur. Dort wartet schon die Personenf\u00e4hre Sea-Cat die mich um 7:30 Uhr f\u00fcr 220 Peso in 1:15 Stunden zur Hafenstadt Bacolod auf der Insel Negros bringt. Dort angekommen warten schon am Pier viele nervige Taxi- und Tricycle-Fahrer die mir zu \u00fcberh\u00f6hten Preisen einen Transport zum Busbahnhof anbieten. Ich will mich grade auf den Weg au\u00dferhalb des Hafengel\u00e4ndes machen um dort ein Metertaxi zu bekommen da spricht mich ein \u00e4lterer Filipino an. Den kenne ich doch. Mit dem hab' ich mich schon auf der F\u00e4hre unterhalten. Er war mit seiner Frau zwei Tage in Iloilo um die Tochter zu besuchen. Sie haben ihr Auto hier am Pier stehen und nehmen mich mit zum Busbahnhof in Bacolod. Und das, obwohl der nicht auf ihrer Strecke liegt. Gut f\u00fcr mich, habe ich das Geld f\u00fcr's Taxi gespart. Am Bushbahnhof kaufe ich ein Kombi-Ticket nach Cebu-City. Das sind eigentlich zwei Fahrkarten: Eine f\u00fcr den Bus und eine f\u00fcr die F\u00e4hre von Negros nach Cebu (350.- und 110.- Peso).<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">  <\/span>Ist die Strecke anfangs noch flach und f\u00fchrt durch endlos weite Zuckerrohrlandschaften, so geht es sp\u00e4ter relativ steil in die Berglandschaft der Insel Negros. Obwohl kaum Verkehr herrscht ist es kaum m\u00f6glich auf der Betonplattenpiste schneller als 50 Sachen zu fahren. Die Highways hier gleichen den Autobahnen der fr\u00fcheren DDR. Neben mir sitzt eine junge Filipina. Beim Gespr\u00e4ch stellt sich heraus, da\u00df sie eine Polizistin ist und auf Kurzulaub zu Hause verweilte. Gegen 12:30 Uhr erreicht der Bus die K\u00fcstenstadt San Carlos. Am Horizont kann man schon die Insel Cebu erkennen. Um 13 Uhr wird der Bus auf die F\u00e4hre verladen, alle m\u00fcssen raus und zu Fu\u00df auf die F\u00e4hre. Gut 2,5 Stunden sp\u00e4ter legt die dann am Pier in Toledo auf der Insel Cebu an und alle steigen wieder ein. Um 18:30 Uhr dann endlich Ankunft am Northern Bus Terminal in Cebu City. Habe noch kein Hotel reserviert hier und es ist schon Nacht. Nach l\u00e4ngerer, erfolgloser Sucherei setze ich mich in ein Taxi und lass mich zum Kiwi Lodge nicht weit von hier bringen. Das wird im Reisef\u00fchrer<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">  <\/span>empfohlen, sprengt aber mit 1300 Peso etwas meinen Rahmen. Von dort aus kann man das beste Panorama auf die Stadt und die vorgelagerte Urlaubsinsel Mactan Island genie\u00dfen. Am Horizont gut zu erkennen die Nachbarinsel Bohol. Den Abend ausklingen lassen kann man am besten in der General Maxilom Avenue, besser bekannt als \"Mango-Street\". Au\u00dferdem muss ich um 12 Uhr auschecken. Habe vorgestern ein Ticket mit der Trans Asia F\u00e4hrunternehmen gebucht. Das n\u00e4chste Ziel lautet Mindanao. Mindanao ist die zweitgr\u00f6\u00dfte Insel der Philippinen und liegt ganz im S\u00fcden des Landes. Im westlichen Teil von Mindanao in der Sulu-Sea gibt's sogar noch Seer\u00e4uber. Die leben auf der Insel Jolo. Die ist jedoch ein paar hundert Kilometer von meinem Ziel, Cagayan de Oro, entfernt. Die F\u00e4hre legt um 20 Uhr ab und kommt am n\u00e4chsten morgen um 6 Uhr an. Habe leider keine Aircon Fahrkarte mehr erhalten, war schon ausverkauft. Daf\u00fcr kostet die Fahrt auf dem Schlafsaaldeck mit 980 Peso nur etwa 20 Euro. Um halb sechs lasse ich mich mit nem Motorradtaxi f\u00fcr 100 Peso zum Pier 4 fahren. Im abendlichen Berufsverkehr kommen wir trotz Zweiradtaxi nur m\u00fchsam voran, die Stra\u00dfen sind einfach viel zu verstopft. Am Check-In von Trans Asia warten schon hunderte Filipinos die auf diverse Schiffe verteilt werden wollen. In einem alten, klapprigen Bus geht's dann zur Trans Asia 10. Diese gro\u00dfe Autof\u00e4hre macht einen durchaus seet\u00fcchtigen Eindruck und hat<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">  <\/span>drei Passagierdecks. Im untersten sind die Kabinen der 1. und 2. Klasse sowie die klimatisierten Mehrbettzimmer der Touristenklasse. Die beiden Decks dar\u00fcber sind reine Economy-Klasse. Sprich, seitlich offen mit hunderten numerierten, eng nebeneinander stehenden Stockbetten \u00fcber das ganze Deck verteilt. Mein Bett hat die Nummer 88 und ist im 3. Deck zu finden (hat etwas gedauert bis ich's schie\u00dflich gefunden habe. Viele wartende Fahrg\u00e4ste machen sich den Spass Geldm\u00fcnzen von der Reling aus ins Meer zu werfen, denen junge Filipinos aus ihren Nu\u00dfschalen hinterherspringen, abtauchen und versuchen das Geld aufzufischen bevor es abtaucht. Mit den gelben Jeepneys kommt man zur Market City im Stadtteil Agora. Dort ist mein reserviertes Hotel WinMin. Beim Einchecken merke ich erst, da\u00df man das auch stundenweise mieten kann. Der Stadtrundgang am Nachmittag zeigt schnell, da\u00df die City au\u00dfer ein paar Einkaufzentren nicht viel herzugeben hat. Der Name Cagayan<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">  <\/span>kommt von Wort kagayhan-an was soviel wie Schande bedeutet. Laut einer Legende haben sich der Sohn und die Tochter zweier verfeindeter St\u00e4mme verm\u00e4hlt was Schande \u00fcber das Land brachte. Sp\u00e4ter fanden die Spanier Gold (Oro) im Flu\u00df hier und so kam es zum Zusatz \"de Oro\". Es ist die Hauptstadt der Provinz Misamis Oriental.<br \/>\nIm Starbucks in der Innenstadt mache ich am Nachmittag die Bekanntschaft der beiden Studentinnen Mitch und Kim. Es stellt sich heraus da\u00df die beiden grade Pr\u00fcfungen hinter sich haben und deshalb ein paar Tage frei. Also lade ich sie ein mit mir auf die Insel Camiguin zu fahren. Immerhin habe ich \u00fcbermorgen Geburtstag, und den feiert man ja nicht gerne allein. Nat\u00fcrlich mu\u00df ich die Kosten \u00fcbernehmen denn die beiden sind blank. Fahrtzeit). Von dort fahren die F\u00e4hren zur Insel Camiguin ab. Weitere 2 Stunden sp\u00e4ter betreten wir die etwa 20 km gro\u00dfe Insel n\u00f6rdlich von Mindanao. Vom Hafenort Benoni bis nach Yumbing an die Nordk\u00fcste sind es nochmal 25 km mit dem Jeepney. Untergekommen sind wir in Pabua's Cottages, habe ich im Vorfeld \u00fcber's Internet gebucht. Auf Camiguin kann man viel unternehmen. Es gibt mehrere Wasserf\u00e4lle und hei\u00dfe Quellen. Au\u00dferdem sieben Vulkane, von denen der h\u00f6chste, der Hibok-Hibok 1332 Meter hoch ist. Der letzte Ausbruch 1951 forderte 2000 Todesopfer. Im Vergleich zu Boracay steckt hier der Tourisus noch in Kinderschuhen. Und das ist auch gut so. Die Menschen sind freundlich und auf den Stra\u00dfen geht es sehr ruhig zu.<br \/>\nHeute Nachmittag bleibt noch Zeit f\u00fcr 450 Peso ein kleines Auslegerboot zu chartern und auf die vorgelagerte \"White Island\" r\u00fcberzufahren. White Island deshalb, da die nur 500 Meter gro\u00dfe Insel aus einer drei Meter hohen Sandd\u00fcne besteht. Es gibt hier keinen Schatten. Aber man kann toll baden und schnorcheln. Gleich nach ein paar Metern ist mir ne giftige Seeschlange begegnet. Mitch und Kim k\u00f6nnen (nat\u00fcrlich wie so viele Filipinos) nicht schwimmen. Die beiden M\u00e4dels sind so klein und d\u00fcnn, die passen locker beide auf den Sozi. Also fahren wir zun\u00e4chst im 3er-Pack zu den nur wenige Kilometer entfernten Ardent Hot Springs. Das kristallklare, 40 Grad warme Wasser f\u00e4llt \u00fcber mehrere Kaskaden in die einzelnen Schwimm- und Planschbecken. Die Anlage liegt sch\u00f6n im Tropischen Regenwald gelgen, der Eintritt kostet nur 30 Peso. Rund um die Anlage sind Picknickpl\u00e4tze engeordnet. ACHTUNG: Die kosten 70 Peso zur Benutzung. Nat\u00fcrlich haben die M\u00e4dels ihre Badesachen vergessen obwohl ich sie vorher drauf aufmerksam gemacht habe. Also m\u00fcssen wir heute Abend nochmals hierherkommen. Aber keine Problem, die Anlage ist 24 Stunden ge\u00f6ffnet. Nur ein paar Kilometer weiter liegen die Katibawasan Wasserf\u00e4lle, die eingebettet in eine tropische Vegetation aus 50 Metern in ein Schwimmbecken fallen. Da die M\u00e4dels auch hier nicht baden k\u00f6nnen starten sie diesselbe Selfie-Orgie wie gestern Nachmittag. Aber am Abend ist es dann soweit. Ich kaufe Pizza's und Getr\u00e4nke und wir fahren nochmals zu den Hot Springs, diesmal mit den Bikini's. Und so k\u00f6nnen wir doch noch meinen Geburtstag am Planschbecken feieren. Sie haben am Nachmittag die n\u00e4chste Pr\u00fcfung, k\u00f6nnen also nicht schw\u00e4nzen. Da ich das Moped jetzt f\u00fcr mich alleine habe starte ich am Vorittag zu einer Inselrundfahrt. Eine gut ausgebaute Betonpiste f\u00fchrt komplett um Camiguin herum. Das sind etwa 65 km. In Bonbon an der Westk\u00fcste liegt aufgrund eines Vulkanausbruchs 1871 ein im Meer versunkener Friedhof an dessen Stelle ein Kreuz aus dem Wasser ragt. In der N\u00e4he beginnt auch ein Kreuzweg zum Old Camiguin Vulkan, ein Pfad an welchem in 12 Stationen der Leidensweg Christi nachgestellt wurde. Weiter im S\u00fcdwesten nahe des Ortes Catarman sind die Tuwasan Falls die ebenfalls zum baden einladen. Und gleich in der N\u00e4he die Santo Nino Cold Springs - schon wieder baden. Im S\u00fcden in Guinsiliban halte ich an einer der vielen B\u00e4ckereien an. Als ich an der Theke was zu essen bestelle antwortet mir der \u00e4ltere philippinische Inhaber im tiefsten Schweizer-Deutsch. Erholen kann man sich hier von sportlichen Strapazen nat\u00fcrlich am besten im \"Entm\u00fcdungsbecken\" der Ardent Hot Springs.<\/p>\n<h3>Donnerstag, 28.01.2016 - Mantigue Island 1. Versuch<\/h3>\n<p>\nSetze mich gegen Mittag auf's Moped und fahre die Ostk\u00fcste von Camiguin runter bis zum Ort San Roque. Von dort starten die Ausflugsboote zur etwa 2 km entfernten Mantique Insel (gesprochen \"Mantiki\"). Aber ich habe Pech. Heute windet es kr\u00e4ftig, sprich der Seegang ist zu rauh um mit den kleinen Jollen r\u00fcberzufahren. Darum mache ich halt ne Spritztour mit dem Moped, etwas Fitness mit dem Fitnessband und ralaxen. Man muss ja nicht immer was unternehmen. In meiner Stammkneipe komme ich am Abend mit der Besitzerin Jello ins Gespr\u00e4ch. Sie ist halb Spanierin und halb Indianerin. Ja richtig, Indianerin! Mit ihrem Schweizer Mann Marcel haben sie nen 18 j\u00e4hrigen Sohn. Ihr Vater ist direkter Abstammung der spanischen Eroberer auf den Philippinen. Fr\u00fcher lebte die Familie im Hauptort Mambajao in einem 200 Jahre alten massiven Holzhaus das die Spanier zu Kolonialzeiten errichteten. 2008 jedoch lie\u00df die hiesige Beh\u00f6rde das Haus mehr oder weniger enteignen und dann abrei\u00dfen. Geld gab's praktisch keines (5000 Peso, 100 Euro !!!). Jetzt steht ein Betongkloth der Landbank dort. Gegen 10 Uhr bin ich wieder in San Roque. Heute fahren die Boote. Und ich habe Gl\u00fcck denn ich kann mir ein Boot mit einem jungen philippinischen Paar teilen (550 Peso) und somit Kosten sparen. Sie ist Studentin, er bei der Polizei und \u00f6fters in der Sulu-See im Einsatz. Also dort wo die Seer\u00e4uber hausen. \"Mantiki\" ist eine herrliche, etwa 500 Meter gro\u00dfe Insel it Sandstrand und teils Korallen ringsum. Im Gegensatz zu White Island ist sie bewachsen und bietet also Schatten. Hier kann man's getrost ein paar Stunden aushalten. Am Nachmittag finde ich nach l\u00e4ngerem suchen doch noch die seismologische Station am Fu\u00dfe des Hibok-Hibok Vulkans. Dort wird die Aktivit\u00e4t dessleben \u00fcberwacht. Und zwar mit dem Flieger. Nur f\u00fcnf Kilometer von meiner Unterkunft liegt der kleine Flugplatz der Insel. Jeden morgen um 7:40 Uhr geht ne Turbopropeller-Maschine in 40 Minuten nach Cebu. Der 80-Sitzer ist tats\u00e4chlich ausgebucht. Und nochmal drei Tage will ich nicht hier in der Stadt verbringen. Also raus ans Meer. Da bietet sich der touristische K\u00fcstenort Moalboal auf der anderen Seite der Insel an. F\u00fcr 107 Peso kommt man mit dem Bus vom Southern Busterminal in nur 2,5 Stunden hin. Moalboal, genauer gesagt der angrenzende Panagsama Beach wird haupts\u00e4chlich von Tauchern frequentiert. Denn an der K\u00fcste verl\u00e4uft das Hausriff an dem man wunderbar Tauchen und Schnorcheln kann. Ne Unterkunft f\u00fcr 600 Peso habe ich auch scnell bei Cora's Homestay gefunden. Panagsama Beach ist eine kleine Ansammlunng von Hotels, Resorts, Backpacker, Restaurants und Kneipen, alle direkt am Strand. Bestens geeignet tags\u00fcber zu \"Chillen\" oder auf den Terassen der Restaurants am Meer abzuh\u00e4ngen. Also genau das was ich f\u00fcr die letzten Urlaubstage brauche.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">  <\/span>Nach etwas Suchen habe ich dann auch das \"Little Corner\" gefunden. Die haben f\u00fcr hiesige Verh\u00e4ltnisse sehr gutes Essen zu g\u00fcnstigen Preisen. Kein Wunder da\u00df es hier abends rappelvoll ist.\n<\/p>\n<h3>Montag, 01.02.2016 - Moalboal<\/h3>\n<p>\nDer letzte wirkliche Urlaubstag verl\u00e4uft unspaktakul\u00e4r. Das Wetter ist schlecht, es regnet fast den ganzen Tag durchgehend. Den Tauchern macht das freilich nichts aus - die werden eh na\u00df unter Wasser. Aber auch hier oben ist die Stimmung nicht getr\u00fcbt. Da kommt man endlich mal zum Lesen, relaxen und das gute Essen im Little Corner zu genie\u00dfen.
